What is INCAP?
The Indiana Career Apprenticeship Pathway (INCAP) is a bold, statewide initiative that is employer-led, allowing employers to define what skills students or adults need for in-demand jobs. High-school students will participate in apprenticeships while they’re still in school and prepare them for both workforce or a continuing education. INCAP is designed to offer real career pathways that bridge classroom learning and in-demand jobs.

Indiana’s construction sector faces a growing workforce gap. INCAP is helping solve that challenge by:
- INCAP AP-Apprenticeship Program for high school students
- INCAP CP-Career Program for adults wanting to advance in their careers
- Partnering with employers to offer paid, meaningful work
- Creating flexible options for students and adults to earn, learn, and advance
